The good news, as Steve Nash put it, is that James Harden will make his debut. The bad news, even according to the coach, is that Kyrie Irving’s return will be delayed a bit longer.
The Fire, as mentioned, has announced that the new acquisition, James Harden, will be available for the Nets tonight against Orlando and will receive first minutes in his new team. “He’s a brilliant basketball player,” Nash testified.
On the return of Kyrie Irving, Nash said: “I hope we are close to a comeback. I can not really give a solid update on the issue, we must evaluate in the meantime. We want to make sure he will make an effort accordingly so he is not injured and protected as much as possible.” Nash added that he wants to see the star undergo some training before returning to play.
On how Durant will get the Nets’ Big 3, Nash said: “Durant is the most adaptable and versatile of the three, he is versatile, with his abilities and athleticism I do not see how this will be a problem for him.
