The activated agent, Muhammad Abu Adra, the son of a Bedouin father and a mother from the Gaza Strip, is married to a woman resident of the Gaza Strip, who divides his life between Rehovot and Rafah with a permanent transfer at the Erez crossing. He was arrested earlier this month for questioning by GSS forces and this morning (Friday) an indictment was filed against him for serious security offenses.
His interrogation revealed that Abu Adra was recruited by Hamas about a year and a half ago, when he was in the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, members of the organization were in secret-operational contact with him, which included, as mentioned, gathering information about the locations of the Iron Dome batteries. According to the indictment filed, Abu Adra is charged with serious security offenses, including: membership in a terrorist organization, disclosing a decision to cheat, passing information to the enemy and more.

Abu Adra’s investigation sheds light on the method and scope of Hamas’ military infrastructure. This assassination joins a series of assassinations carried out during 2020 in front of other civilians from “divided families” who worked for the Hamas organization in the Gaza Strip.
