The ugly incident last night (Sunday) at the end of the game in Romema Hall, where Hapoel Haifa defeated Hapoel Holon 85:96, continues to develop. After a video was circulated showing one of the Reds’ economists on the verge of a physical confrontation with the guest chairman, who teased Elad Hussein during an interview at the end of the game, the team from Carmel sent a scathing letter of complaint to the league manager.
In a letter signed by the CEO of Hapoel Haifa, Ron FeldheimIt was stated: “I appeal to you, after much deliberation, to prosecute the chairman of Hapoel Holon, Eitan Lanciano, following his behavior at the end of the game, in which he verbally attacked the club, its people, and especially the coach of Hapoel Haifa, Elad Hussein. “Our acquaintance as a club in the Premier League amounts to only two meetings, and it is important to note that in the previous game, Mr. Lanciano sat in the stands and did not stop insulting the referees and even confronted our club members who sat in the stands.”
Immediately after the end of the game last night, Mr. Lanciano began to insult, in front of Hapoel Haifa chairman Yuval Rosman, our players, the club and in particular Elad Hussein. “When Mr. Rossman asked Lanciano why he was talking like that, Lanciano turned his back on him with contempt,” Feldheim added in his letter. “Although the security people asked Mr. Lanciano to leave the hall, while accompanying him, he continued all the way to tease Elad Hussein and the club members and said ‘you are a poor little club and you will not survive in the league’. “Does it make sense to you that the chairman of a club and a member of the board of directors of the Premier League, the body that works day and night to eradicate violence in basketball, is the one who ignited a violent riot?”
The summary reads: “It is clear to everyone that verbal violence quickly leads to physical violence, and perhaps this was Mr. Lanciano’s goal. As someone who should serve as an example to all the activists in his organization, Mr. Lanciano also stirred up his fans who attacked the club’s Facebook page this morning with abusive messages and threats. We will not allow anyone to harm our club and we turn to you to bring the law to justice. ”
