Menachem Koretzky, who left Hapoel Rishon Lezion about six months ago due to health reasons, returned to smelling the grass. The new coach of Hapoel Hadera, who replaced Sharon Mimar who was fired, delivered his debut training session today (Saturday) – ahead of the game against Bnei Sakhnin this coming Monday.

“It’s very exciting, probably after a long time I had to be off the pitch,” Koretzky admitted, adding: “I am happy and thankful to Hapoel Hadera for the trust she has placed in me and I promise to give everything to help her stay in the league, that’s the most important thing.”

Hadera is ranked 13th and penultimate on the eve of the 18th round, and is two points away from a safe haven. So what’s Koretzky’s plan? “I followed the football, and Hadera proved that it is very high quality and received a lot of compliments. I am currently busy lowering the compliments and bringing more results.”

“I told my players my ‘I believe’, what we need to do to come back to win and take some of the pressure off,” the new coach shared, concluding: “I will bring from my experience in underground struggles. I believe that together with language we will succeed in the task.”
