Just over two years since Google introduced their first Home Hub device, the company has announced their latest smart display. The second generation Nest offers several enhancements over the previous one, along with a new feature: Sleep Sensing.

The smart display is a multifunctional tool that helps you to stay connected to the world around you. It has a 7-inch touchscreen panel, and Google says the new Nest Hub offers 50% better bass than the last model. You can use the tool with a number of different streaming services – whether you want to hear your favorite song on Spotify or grab Disney Plus.

The sleek display is also easy to control, as its motion sensor picks up hand gestures to tell it to play or stop a song. The new Nest Hub will use

technology too, so you can ask him to perform actions with your voice. You can also use the Nest Hub as a console to control features on other compatible smart home products, such as smart lighting.

One of the key new features of Nest Hub is the Sleep Awareness capability. The sleek display uses its motion sensing with low-energy radar technology to detect your movement and breathing while sleeping near the device. It can also monitor snoring and temperature changes.

The Nest Hub then takes all of this data to monitor your sleep. After your night’s rest, you can use the smart display to see how you’ve been doing and whether it has any suggestions on ways you can improve your sleep.
