Glilot Capital is launching a $ 170 million growth fund

Glilot Capital Partners said it has launched its first early growth fund, Glilot + (Glilot Plus). This is Glilot Capital’s fifth fund to date, bringing the total assets under the company’s management to $ 500 million. The $ 170 million fund will run in parallel with Glilot Seed Fund, which has made investments in six new companies over the past decade. The new fund, which has already completed several investments, is earmarked for enterprise software after Tier A and cybersecurity companies. and leads or participates in advanced tours, making investments ranging from $ 5-20 million in about 15 companies, the company said. Glilot Capital was founded in 2011 by Managing Partners Kobi Samboursky and Arik Kleinstein, with Nofar Amikam joining as a partner. It is the only Israeli fund to be ranked four times by international research firm Preqin as the best-performing fund in the world, Glilot said. Glilot + is led by Lior Litwak, which joins Glilot as a managing partner after being a partner at M12, a Microsoft venture fund, where it invested 20 company in Israel and abroad. Notable investments in Israel led by Litwak include Authomize, nsKnox, Zencity and At-Bay. Litwak is an alumnus of the Israeli Defense Forces elite Talpiot program and earned his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. He began his career as an officer in the Special Operations Technology Division of Intelligence Corps and later served in R&D leadership and tech-financial consulting positions at data storage giant EMC and investment bank Morgan Stanley. “Today, more than ever, Israeli entrepreneurs are thinking hard and looking to build long-established independent and global businesses that will take control of their business,” Litwak said.
