Glilot Capital is launching a $ 170 million growth fund

Glilot Capital Partners announces raising $ 170 million for its first growth fund, Glilot + (Glilot Plus). The new fund invests in software and cyber companies after Round A, and is expected to invest in about 15 companies as it leads or joins advanced funding rounds with an investment of between $ 5-20 million.

The growth fund operates in parallel with Glilot Capital’s lime investment fund, which in recent months has made six new lime investments in early-stage ventures. The growth fund has also made initial investments and is the fifth fund of Glilot Capital, which currently manages about $ 500 million.

Glilot’s growth activity will be managed by Lior Litvak, who joined the fund as a managing partner. Litvak served in his most recent role as a partner in the M12 fund, Microsoft’s venture capital arm, through which he invested in about 20 companies in Israel and abroad, of which more than 12 are in early growth stages. Among the prominent investments he led in Israel: “I am excited to join Kobi, Arik and Nofar at Glilot Capital Fund, located at the top of the venture capital industry in Israel, to lead the growth fund,” says Lior Litvak.

Glilot Capital was founded in 2011 by Kobi Samborsky and Arik Kleinstein, who serve as managing partners in the fund, which was joined as a partner by Nofar Amikam. “After a successful decade, we are expanding our activities, and now we can invest in and assist the leading Israeli companies at every stage of their growth process,” says Kobi Samborsky. “We are very happy that Lior has joined us – Lior is a significant addition to the fund and I am sure that together we will be able to help the leading Israeli companies reach new heights,”

Arik Kleinstein adds: “The business world will continue to undergo a huge revolution derived from the ever-expanding use of advanced information technologies, and young Israeli companies operating in this world have enormous potential. We invest and operate in the field for many years. “
