Gilat-powered original Aero methods out of multi-million-dollar capacity in China Nasdaq: GILT

PETAH TIKVA, February 11, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ, TASE: GILT), a global leader in satellite network technology, solutions and services, announces that Gilat has launched original aero modems, out of a multi-million dollar capacity in China . China’s leading system integrator, to install Gilat aero modem, for the Ka-band In-flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) system, on the entire fleet of China’s first airline and on additional domestic airlines .

IFEC is aboard the first aircraft already in operation, providing commercial service with incredible performance, enabled by Gilat’s aero modem, Taurus. The Chinese airline is the first fleet out of a capacity of 3,500 commercial aircraft operating in China.
