Get ready: Days Gone is coming to PC

Beginning of an article

Bend Studios, which developed the title Days Gone for Sony’s PlayStation console, announced on its official Twitter account that the game will be released for PC gamers over the coming months in the spring. Also Sony CEO, Jim Ryan, Confirmed during an interview the announcement and announced that the company has changed its thinking pattern, and in the future we can expect more exclusive Sony titles that will also be released for the PC.

Ryan concluded: “A number of things have changed. We have the opportunity to unveil our great games for a whole new audience. As we launched Horizon Zero Dawn on PC last August – players loved and purchased the game. We are also looking at how the PlayStation community views the issue, Strong opposition – that’s why we continue along the same lines. “

Over the years Sony has boasted exclusive games developed specifically for its PlayStation consoles, and to this day the thought of the company releasing them for another platform has only been a dream. Over the past year exclusive games like Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain and recently also Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding (which has been granted temporary exclusivity for only a few months) have found their way into the PC. The company’s annual report for 2020, which was released last September, also left no room for doubt – the company has changed its pattern of thinking and tactics.

The move is significant, but it probably won’t make Sony release the games to the PC on the day of their launch. Just like with Horizon Zero Dawn, the company will probably wait several years or until the end of the generation to release the games to the digital platforms of computer gamers. But there is no doubt that this is a positive step for the company, and especially for the consumers.
