Gavin Newsom posts TikTok inside a Fresno restaurant even though indoor dinner is not allowed

California Governor Gavin Newsom has been accused of attending an event at a restaurant while indoor dining is still banned throughout most of the state.

Newsom alleges he did not eat while visiting with the owners of Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant, which received a grant of relief – despite a TikTok video filmed of the event revealing a full record beverage.

Chef Andrew Gruel, a prominent resident of Los Angeles Slapfish and Big Parm restaurants, tweeted that Newsom ate inside the restaurant.

California is the only state where indoor food is banned. Industry split. It’s an explosive subject, ‘said Gruel on Saturday.

He continued: ‘Newsom is holding a restaurant ONLY event, posting a video, and the group is “eating / drinking” (see photos) – people say this is right enough? If it’s right for them, open it all up. ‘

In the Newsom video, comedian George Lopez asks the governor how residents can find the COVID-19 vaccine certificate.

‘It’s wonderful to be in his service, George,’ Newsom says in the video after Lopez thanked him for the information.

It was not immediately clear why Lopez was with Newsom inside the restaurant.

Gruel, who has previously criticized the governor for locking restrictions, has called on Newsom to resign ‘ASAP’ and blamed the regulator for the ‘cringe-worthy’ piece.

‘This is a slap in the face of all restaurant staff. All citizens, ‘said Gruel.

He said: ‘If restaurants can’t be open indoors, they shouldn’t be indoors. It’s that simple. It’s a terrible message at best, but by its standards, rules are broken. We can’t even hold staff meetings indoors. ‘

‘I don’t care if he’s inside taking a nap, it’s a bull ** ta. Of all the places to do this. And don’t tell me they weren’t eating or drinking. You know very well that they did, ‘said Gruel.

Fresno is in the state’s purple chain for coronavirus restrictions, which carry the widest setbacks – allowing restaurants to serve outdoor food with changes.

Gruel caught fire last year when he said he would keep his Slapfish and Big Parm restaurants open despite Newsom ordering outdoor food closures in the state, The Sun said.

‘All of me are blowing up my answers saying I’m a killer grandmother so I just want to deal with everything here,’ Gruel said at the beginning of the video , which he posted on Twitter in December.

Here ‘s the situation – are we taking the pandemic seriously? Of course we do! Am I saying we shouldn’t shut out food? Yes I am. ‘

Gruel, who has appeared on numerous food network shows, said restaurant owners spent money to meet demands from politicians across the pandemic and were steadily declining.

‘We shut food in – no problem. I found a warehouse full of Plexiglas right now. We went outside. Now that closes, ‘Gruel said in December.

‘I’ve just put thousands of dollars in outdoor heaters.’

In November, Newsom was caught eating indoors at a ritzy French Laundry restaurant in Yountville, California one night for lobbyist Jason Kinney’s birthday when indoor food was not allowed .

A witness who took pictures told KTTV that the Newsom group was so high that the restaurant had to close its sliding doors.

Newsom later said it was a ‘mistake’ after he recovered for breaking his own restrictions, Fox News reported.

‘I should have stood up and … returned to my house,’ Newsom said, according to the uprising.

‘The spirit of what I preach has always been contradictory. ‘

He said: ‘I must preach and practice, not just preach.’

Since then California residents have launched efforts to remember the governor who appears to be getting drunk.

Organizers of a recall effort must collect at least 1.5 million signatures by March 17 to recall the ballot – but they have collected more than 1.8 million signatures, Fox News reported.
