Although Samsung’s ‘ultra’ models offer the richest package available to it, the entry-level models for the Galaxy S series are quite an attractive product to many. They offer a compact structure while maintaining a fairly large display, incorporate the same processor that is also found in the ultra models, and are offered at a significantly lower price, which falls below the NIS 3,000 threshold.
Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy S21 5G, its new entry-level model, which comes in a new design, with a new processor, to take the place of the S20 from the previous year. Having discussed the differences between the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the S20 Ultra, now comes a contributor of the two entry-level models to the company’s flagship series.
Design
The two devices show a different design on their backs, while their front part remains almost the same, with the camera array occupying the largest part of this change, as it integrates continuously with metal spilling from the frame of the device into its back and storing the camera array. The cameras themselves look larger in the Galaxy S21, but this is not indicative of the camera set itself, which features similar features shared between the two models.

Both models come with 6.2-inch screens, with a hole in the top where a selfie camera is integrated, and both are coated with Gorilla Glass protective glass, but the newer model, the Galaxy S21, is equipped with the latest generation glass (Victus), while the S20 model is coated with glass The Gorilla Glass 6.
The dimensions of the devices are also very similar, with the S21 being about 2 mm wider and weighing about 8 grams higher compared to the S20 model, no significant or significant differences when it comes to comparing the comfort of the grip between the two.
Here are the dimensions of the pair of devices:

Specifications: Galaxy S21 vs. Galaxy S20
Both models come with a screen with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel in size 6.2 inches, But there are some differences between them. The display resolution of the Galaxy S20 model is higher and stands at WQHD + in a layout of 1440 × 3200 pixels. In contrast, the Galaxy S21 has a FHD + resolution with a layout of 1080 × 2400 pixels. The drop in maximum display resolution also indicates a drop in pixel density, with the S21 offering a density of 421 pixels per inch, while the S20 reaches up to 563 pixels per inch.
Another difference is in favor of the Galaxy S21, which comes with a brighter screen that can reach up to 1300 nits, compared to 1200 nits in the previous model. As already mentioned, the screen protector glass is the Gorilla Glass 7 (Victus model), which offers twice as much resistance to scratches as the Gorilla Glass 6 used by the S20, while both use screens at a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Both devices offer a biometric fingerprint scanner that allows for secure opening of the device by touching the screen, but with the S21 Samsung testifies that it has upgraded the scanner to a larger one that will allow higher accuracy in fingerprint recognition.
The full details on the pair of screens can be found below:

A significant change in the technical specifications of the two comes in the form of Samsung’s new chipset, the Exynos 2100, which is manufactured in a 5-nanometer process and replaces the Exynos 990 that was incorporated in the previous model, and is manufactured in a 7-nanometer process. The new platform offers an upgrade of more than 40 percent in the graphics processing section and an upgrade of more than 30 percent in the performance category. Basic working memory (RAM) is available in 8 GB in both models, as is the basic storage of 128 GB, but unlike the S20 model, with the new model Samsung does not allow to expand the storage capacity using a memory card.
The battery that powers the entire array remains at the same capacity between the two devices and amounts to 4000 mAh, and both support fast charging at a power of 25 watts via a USB-C connection. Wireless charging can be done at a maximum speed of 15 watts and reverse wireless charging can be done at a maximum speed of 4.5 watts on both devices.
Both models come with water and dust resistance under the IP68 standard, offer a pair of speakers that work together in stereo and support Bluetooth 5 and WiFi 6, but do not offer a 3.5mm headphone connection. The S21 model comes without a charger and headphones in the package, but Samsung already Was quick to announce that you will receive a fast charger and TWS headphones as part of the early purchase of the device.
