Gal Gadot Reveals Wonder Woman 1984: “The Hardest Ever” | Watch

After the great success of the first film in 2017, the sequel Wonder Woman 1984 was released at the end of 2020, starring Gal Gadot. A few weeks after the film was released, in parallel with its broadcast on the streaming service HBO MAX, the Israeli star talks about the difficulties in filming the film.

“This is probably the hardest film I’ve ever worked on,” Gal Gadot said in a short interview with Reuters. “With this movie, with Wonder Woman 1984, you know, we already felt like we were going to some dark place as humanity, and you know where the world is going. We wanted to reflect that as a human and show what we would like the world to be. That was something we tried to do in this movie. And this movie He is about the whole truth and the ability to accept the truth as it is and all this is about hope and love, “said Gal Gadot.

“Because of the way the film was received,” Gadot said, “and the first film and the impact it had, we knew we had to rise above our level of acting even more and the continuum was super high. So, the current film is just very ambitious and the continuum was huge. “You know, four different story lines. As the action unfolded it crossed boundaries. Patty (the director and screenwriter) really wanted there to be a minimal amount of use of graphics, and we had to do so much of it ourselves. So it was a lot of work.”
