G-SHOCK features BABY-G’s latest collaboration with Pokémon

Featuring their favorite Pokémon, Pikachu, the new schedule comes off the heels of last year’s collaboration between the two brands in celebration of 25 BABY-Gth anniversary. This second collaboration involves an outdoor-themed analog-digital watch, representing the active image of the BABY-G brand. The whole BA110PKC-4A band features a camouflage pattern and a female Pikachu with a heart-shaped tail.

Pikachu’s design is also introduced with subtle details like the silhouette of the pink tail on the keeper of the strap and the Pikachu image carved on the back case. The hour-and-minute handshake also awakens Pikachu’s face, a fun touch that pleases the wearer as they explore the moment.

As part of the release, BABY-G has published a special landing page taking users through the features, which can be accessed here.

In addition to special packaging inspired by the iconic Poké Ball, the BA110PKC-4A also comes equipped with G-SHOCK technology including:

  • Shock resistant
  • 100M Water resistance
  • LED Light Super Illuminator
  • Earth Time (48 seats + UTC)
  • 1/100 Second Stopwatch
  • 5 daily alarms (with 1 Snooze alarm)
  • Countdown Timer
  • 12/24 Hr. Shapes
  • Full Auto Calendar

The BA110PKC-4A sells for $ 150 and be available for purchase in February at select retailers, Soho G-SHOCK Store, and gshock.com.

About G-SHOCK

The CASIO-shocked G-SHOCK watch is associated with sadness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe’s dream of creating a watch that will never break. More than 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now famous G-SHOCK hit the streets Japan and began to establish himself as ‘the strongest watch ever’. Each watch contains the 7 elements; resistance to electric shock, gravity strength, low temperature strength, vibration strength, water resistance, shock strength and so on. The watch is packed with Casio devices and technologies to prevent it from suffering a direct shock; this includes urethane-protected internal components and hanging time-keeping modules within the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has grown steadily, continuing to support Mr. Ibe’s mantra “never, never give up.” www.gshock.com
