Foreign airlines are starting to return to Israel

The largest airline in Europe, the German Lufthansa, has announced that it will operate flights on the Frankfurt-Tel Aviv route as early as next week. The company will operate four weekly flights at this stage, with Israeli airlines sharing the route with it.

Earlier this week, the American United and Delta also announced that they will return to operate flights on the New York-Tel Aviv route as early as Saturday evening, and here too, the foreign companies will share the activity on the Israeli route with El Al.

The airport in Frankfurt is one of the largest and most central in Europe, from which it is possible to continue to dozens of countries around the world, which is why it was chosen as one of the two destinations to which special flights are operated even during the closed airport.

It is important to remember that the decision to integrate foreign airlines stems in part from American pressure exerted following the fact that Ask Al was the only company that operated flights to New York until this week.
