NOM launches the NSL leagues – the first professional gaming leagues in Israel in three different game categories. The new leagues will allow leading and beginning gamers to compete in a professional and award-winning way in FIFA, Fortnite and Counter Strike. This is the first time that an award-winning professional league in the field of gaming has been established in Israel, with the winners winning cash prizes worth over NIS 100,000. Lenovo will serve as the main sponsor

The leagues will be divided into three of the leading games in the world in their field: the FIFA football game, the popular Battle Royale game Fortnite and the veteran war game Counter Strike. In each title, the league will be divided into two different allotments: the Pro League where the best players in Israel will receive an invitation and compete head to head, and the Open League which will be open to the general public at no cost. The regular season will be spread over 6 months, at the end of which the leading players and teams will arrive for the final event, which will be broadcast live to tens of thousands of viewers. The leagues are prize winners with a total value of over NIS 100,000.

Shahar Meir, The founder of NOM said: “As the leading body in the gaming world in Israel, our goal is to institutionalize the industry and make it as professional as the football and basketball industries in the country. There is a large community all over the country of players from all sectors. Players in the field, and these have represented Israel in the various international competitions around the world. “

Sivan Polak Yahel, VP of Marketing for Novo Israel, said: “We are proud to sponsor the NOM League and help promote the competitive gaming field in Israel. Since the inception of the Legion brand, the gaming brand of Lenovo, we have been operating in this arena in a variety of areas and activities, from the best hardware in the genre, to sponsorships of tournaments and leagues, to ventures like the Gaming Academy we established last year.
