From celebrities to legendary keepers, the Royal WWE Rumble game event is famous for its amazing entrants. However, this year the company has decided to add a little soccer flavor in their main event. According to a recent post on Twitter, WWE has announced that football star Fernando Torres will be part of the infamous event scheduled to take place on January 31st.

Former Liverpool star Fernando Torres, also known as ‘El Nino’, is reportedly preparing for his WWE debut. In the photo posted by @btsportwwe, Torres’ body looked torn and cut.
The Spaniard, who had a fruitful career in Liverpool, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid, is dressed as a player with many awards as he won the UEFA Champions League (with Chelsea), won the UEFA Europa League (with Atletico Madrid), won The FA Cup (with Chelsea) and also the prestigious FIFA World Cup with his country in Spain in 2010. He also played a part in the glory of the 2008 and 2010 Spanish European Championships.
Torres’ hit album earned the nickname ‘El Nino’ (The Kid) as the menacing seasonal storm.
Torres is the third highest score in Spain with 38 goals to his name. World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has brought in many sports personalities to attract fans for the Royal Rumble event. Earlier, NFL player Rob Gronkowski had also spent a short time with the company and even managed to keep the 24/7 Championship short.
