MK Abbas told Israel Today after submitting the list: “Today we are entering a new era, in which we want to realize the political partnership and act for the benefit of Arab society and society in general.”
“We hope that this election will decide the question of the Arab-Jewish partnership, and that our Arab citizens’ ability to take an influential part in issues that are important to Arab society. We hope that the Jewish majority will also work to realize our goals,” MK Abbas added.
Balad chairman MK Sami Abu Shehadeh: “Today, together with our friends in Hadash and Ta’al, we submitted the list to the 24th Knesset. “In the joint list in general and in Balad in particular, we will continue to jointly lead the struggle for justice, equality and just peace, and strive for the state of all its citizens, which is the democratic project that can end the conflict and open a new horizon for future generations.”
