The popular FUT Birthday Ultimate Team promo is likely to launch soon, so what players could feature as special items this year?
The FUT Birthday promo is an annual event that marks the anniversary of the Ultimate Team game mode, which was first launched in March 2009.
FUT Birthday marks the 12th anniversary of the FIFA Final Team in FIFA 21, with the event itself launching for the first time in FIFA 14 to mark five years of FUT.
The promo often features around 30 unique features with elevated stats, weak leg and skill moves, as well as a number of other released items such as SBCs and goals, with high-profile players often featuring .

The FIFA 20 FUT birthday event featured players such as Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Rashford, Eden Hazard, Allan Saint-Maximin, Gareth Bale, Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Mesut Ozil, Virgil van Dijk, Joao Cancelo and Nick Pope all donated updated FUT specials.

FIFA 21 FUT Similar birthday start date
Since the first promo appeared in FIFA 14, the FUT Birthday event is launched every March.
The FIFA 20 FUT birthday event was launched on Friday, March 27, 2020, while the FIFA 19 FUT birthday event was launched on Friday, March 22, 2019.
So it is very likely that the FIFA 21 FUT birthday event will be launched at 6pm GMT on Friday, March 26, 2021.
The FIFA 21 FUT Birthday promo is also likely to be a two – week promo, as that has been the case since FIFA 19.
At the FIFA 20 FUT birthday event two FUT birthday teams were launched, Team 1 included 15 players, and Team 2 included 11 players.
Seven other FUT birthday items were released as SBCs, four FUT birthday items were released as targets and there were also four Flashback items and one Player Moments item.
So expect similar content for the FIFA 21 FUT birthday event.

FIFA 21 FUT Birthday ‘leaked’ card design
The design of the FIFA 21 FUT birthday card has not yet been officially confirmed by EA Sports. However, there is a social media account that says they have released a FIFA 21 FUT birthday card design and promotional materials.
Posted on Twitter Monday, March 22, @FUTAR_Trader posted the following images, which are said to show off the new FUT Birthday design and promo materials.
The picture shows a card design that is mostly purple, with pink, red and blue scenes.
The color scheme is similar to the ‘leaked’ stimulants, with an orange / salmon background with purple lettering.
Without official confirmation or a loading screen to confirm the design, we have to wait to see what will be released in the coming days and if this ‘leak’ is correct.
