Back in November, Ubisoft confirmed that they were designing DLC after its launch Fenyx immortals rising. So far, that has given us cosmic transitions between Blood of Zeus and Adventure time, but we had been waiting for the first story expansion, “A New God”.
Originally listed for January 21, it is now available on the Switch eShop. Taking place after the conclusion of the main story, New God lets us explore the Palace of Olympos, and Ubisoft explained just what you can expect within this statement:
Fenyx Immortals’ first DLC, Fenyx Immortals: A New God, is available on all platforms on January 28 and forces Fenyx to pass the Olympic Trials to take their rightful place in the pantheon of Greece.
New God allows players to explore the Olympos Palace and interact with new game mechanics as they go through the new experiments built by the gods. Along the way, players will unlock four amazing new ability upgrades for Fenyx and a new gear set with wonderful perks worthy of god as allowing you to make extra jerseys.
Of the three DLC episodes, New God is the only one to focus on Fenyx, as “Myths Of The Eastern Realm” and “The Lost Gods” take us into major influencers. Currently, their release dates are unconfirmed and although their previous eShop listing suggested 25 February and 1 April respectively, this has since been updated to “2021”.
New God is now available for £ 11.99, along with Season Pass covering all three events for £ 32.99. If you haven’t built Immortals yet but were interested in it, a demo was recently released as well, so why not check it out?
