Milan are dreaming of their first championship since the 2010/11 season, but tonight (Saturday) that ambition took a hit: the table leader was defeated 3-0 at home by Atlanta in the 19th round of the Italian league. Her city rival and runner-up in the table, Inter, did not take advantage of the stumble and finished with a disappointing 0-0 at Udinese. Earlier, Roma defeated Spezia 3: 4 at the end of a crazy game and revenge for the relegation from the cup.

The second loss this season to the leader, who can see Juventus narrow the gap from them on Sunday to seven points (and the champion will have one game less). This is also the second time this season, along with the loss to Yuba two and a half weeks ago, that the Rossoneri are taking three balls off the net.
Christian Gabriel Romero scored the first in the 36th minute with a powerful shot, Josip Ilicic doubled from the penalty spot (53) and Duban Spata nailed the third from close range (77) to arrange for the visitors a big victory. Mario Mendžukić made his red-and-black debut in the 70th minute, but of course did not save the Milanese. Atlanta closed out a ninth league game in a row without a loss.

Udinese – Inter 0: 0
Antonio Conte’s side could have clung to their city rival at the top of the table, but lost two precious points and remained two points away from first place. Lautro Martinez found the net in the eighth minute for the Narazuri, but the goal was disqualified due to a dissent – and more than that the visitors were unable to achieve. In overtime Antonio Conte received a red card after a hearing with the Chief Justice. The host, by the way, closed out a ninth consecutive league game without a win.

The Wolves scored three precious points in the struggles at the top with an extremely difficult victory, as they were very close to finishing with a disappointing draw against the same team that knocked them out in the quarter-finals of the Cup. A dramatic victory in the 92nd minute by Lorenzo Pellegrini set the final score.
Two minutes earlier, Daniela Verde had scored an equalizer and put pressure on Paolo Funska and his men. But, as mentioned, Pellegrini helped Rome return to winning after two consecutive league games without a win including the hard-fought 3-0 win over Lazio in the last round. Burja Maiorl excelled with a double (17 and 52), Rick Carsdorf added (55), while Roberto Piccoli (24) and Diego Parias (59) allowed on the other side before the fascinating finish. End Podgorano once again sat on the bench and did not partner.
