Exciting: Shuli Rand sings “Between the Holy and the Sand” in a duet with an autistic Bar Mitzvah boy

And so her friend Meir wrote about his part in mediating between the two:

“One of the most common inquiries I get is ‘Hello friends, do you have the latest Shuli Rand’s current number?’

The truth? I do not always have the latest (usually I have the one-before-the-latest). But when Shlomi and Ayala Lichtstein from Modi’in Illit approached me a few days ago, I had.

And so I was privileged to be the WhatsApp postman who passed on their request to him: “Hello dear and beloved Shuli, the wonderful words you sing about your journey were also found accurate for our autistic eldest son, Nati. On the occasion of his bar mitzvah, we recorded a clip with such a special song. For a joint duet with our Nati, it will excite him a lot and us as well. ”

I recommended Shuli to take a tissue before he opens the file. The parents attached an initial sketch in which their child sang the song “Between the Holy and the Sabbath” (written by Shachar Hadar and composed by Amir Dadon) in a small home studio in Modi’in Illit. When I saw the performance I thought that this song, actually went down to the world for Nati. It’s his song. Shuli Rand and Amir Dadon only sang the initial sketch …

A minute and a half after Shuli received the WhatsApp, his manager David Padida, returned to the parents to coordinate a joint recording, and tonight they sent me the final result.

So welcome them, Shuli Rand, and Bar Mitzvah groom Nati Lichtstein, in the joint and amazing duet from every aspect.

The musical as well. ”
