Everything is included in the Caribbean: the perfect and cheapest destination for Israelis

In about a month, there will be more than two million Israelis who will receive the second dose of vaccine, or who have recovered from Corona and will be able to return from any country in the world without the need for isolation. There are quite a few countries that accept Israelis already now, but as mentioned, returning from any of them requires isolation in the country.
One of the most intriguing countries that is already allowing tourists from Israel is the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. The recommended months to visit the country are February and November, although you can visit the country in all seasons.

In the Dominican Republic you will find lots of nature and spectacular beaches, music, happy people and good food. One of the attractions that will attract quite a few Israelis are the resorts that offer “all-inclusive” packages, similar to those we know from the country or vacations in neighboring Turkey.

Destination hotel prices are significantly cheaper than anything we have known, especially when it comes to the Caribbean, all-inclusive and world-class resorts, most of them on the famous beach in Punta Cana. Prices start from about NIS 3,500 per couple in a 4-star hotel in an all-inclusive format, hotels with a 5-star rating in the same format start from about NIS 5,000 per week per couple. If all inclusive does not wink at you, there are great and simpler hotels at significantly cheaper prices. It is important to emphasize that there are also hotels of Nickelodeon (great for kids), hard rock (for music lovers), water parks, casinos, adult-only hotels and many more, so it is advisable to check out these options as well.

Flights to Punta Cana will cost in February starting at $ 800 via Canada on a long and slightly less convenient route. There are also options for flights via France, Switzerland, Germany or the US for visa holders, the short flights will cost about $ 1,000 per passenger. Direct flights from Miami will cost about $ 250. Getting to the Dominican Republic is not easy, it requires at least one stop on the way and at least 14 flight hours.

The country is located near Cuba, about a two-hour flight from Miami, so it can easily be combined with a vacation in the United States, which, as we recall, allows Israelis to enter. Of course the Dominican Republic is not just Punta Cana, there are spectacular nature walks, the capital city of Santo Domingo built somewhere in 1494, the dream resorts in Puerto Plata and more.

Currently, it is possible to enter the Dominican Republic without the need for corona tests. Random tests are performed at the airport and anyone who is found sick or has symptoms will be sent for isolation. It is very important to clarify that the conditions change every day and if you are interested in flying to the destination, check the conditions of entry into the country again. It is important to emphasize that at the moment, there are certain restrictions in the evenings and on weekends, it is important to make sure before arriving in the country regarding the restrictions in the hotels and regarding the activities that you plan to perform.
