Two neighborhoods in Kfar Saba – the Park neighborhoods and Eli Cohen, are at a high risk (4 out of 5) of infection in Corona. This is according to the weekly analysis of the business mapping company Points. Eight other areas in the city – Tekuma, Poalim B-Lampert, Hadar-Mizrahi Yards, the Central Station area, Maoz, the Herzl Street area, Motzkin-Duvdevan in the village of Kissufim, Geulim-Halutzim – are at a medium risk level (3).
Another 15 areas – Mishkenot, Kaplan Beit and Nof, Shikun Aliyah, Kfar Saba Green, area north of the Arim Mall, Geula Street area, Poalim D. The young Kfar Saba, the flowers, Degania, Kiryat Sapir, the area south of the Arim Mall, the stadium area – are at risk level 2. The neighborhoods of Eliezer, Yoseftal and Givat Eshkol-Hadarim are at risk level 1.
The model defines for each neighborhood its level of risk with respect to a number of parameters, such as: percentage of positive tests, active patients per ten thousand residents, growth rate in new patients, exposures, isolations and more. The model is calculated daily for each neighborhood and so trends can be seen and areas identified where an eruption is expected to occur.
“At the national level, over the past week we have witnessed an increase in morbidity, partly due to an increase in the number of tests, but not only,” explains the head of consulting and analytics at Yafit Ben Haim, “In Kfar Saba, there is a very significant increase in morbidity.” The active patients almost tripled themselves, as did the percentage of positive tests approaching three percent.The updated traffic light score of the city is 6, in the middle range of the orange color.If the city reaches 7 the city will become a red city.Today most of the city is at risk 3-2 (Medium) but neighborhoods in the east of the city with a low risk index (1) can be identified, and areas in the city center at a high risk level (4) “.

Meanwhile, according to data published today (Wednesday) by the Ministry of Health, the number of active patients in Kfar Saba currently stands at 148 compared to 127 yesterday and 122 on Monday. The rate of positive tests in Kfar Saba is three percent of the total tests, similar to yesterday, and the city has an average of 10.1 patients per 10,000 residents, compared to 9.5 yesterday.
It will be recalled that as of Monday, Kfar Saba is defined as an “orange city”, according to the traffic light model of the Ministry of Health, which defines localities throughout the country according to the level of morbidity in the corona in the locality. The score of Kfar Saba according to the traffic light model currently stands at 6, compared to 5.9 yesterday, with an orange city defined as having received the score between 5.5 and 7.
The number of active patients in the country today stands at 20,112, 122 more than midnight. 392 of them in critical condition. The number of respirators is 144. The cumulative number of deaths is 3,030.
