Dom Sibley scored a half-century fight to lead England to a six-wicket victory in the second Test after Sri Lanka fell to 126 all-out.

The England opener had made just six runs in three previous innings in the series but made the most of good luck, surviving three tight lbw reviews on an umpire call, and, along with Jos Buttler ( 46no) the Tourists helped a 2-0 series seal their late win on the fourth afternoon.

England were placed 164 to win on a declining field after the guests conceded to Jack Leach (4-59), Dom Bess (4-49) and Joe Root (2-0) in frightening fashion as the 10 wikis fell to spinning each side of a pond.

It was only left-arm spinner Lasith Embuldeniya who gave Sri Lanka any defense, hitting a 40-game best in his career before finishing three second-innings wickets with 10-210 game figures, as the home team their benefit from the first hotel.
