Reports of Apple’s electric vehicle also reached Ayalon Musk, who first revealed that he offered Tim Cook to buy Tesla, and what was the reaction of Apple’s CEO
Following the report that Apple plans to start production of an electric vehicle in 2024, Twitter users turned to Elon Musk – to hear his opinion on the matter. Alongside a critique of the battery structure reported that Apple is planning, Musk also revealed a very interesting historical detail.
“Tim Cook refused to accept the meeting”
Musk, a well-known tweeter, shot some interesting answers on the subject of reporting the new vehicle, with the most interesting being Morak on less beautiful days of the company he heads. “In the toughest days of the Model 3, I turned to Tim Com, to discuss the possibility of Apple buying Tesla (at a tenth of its current value). He even refused to meet, “Musk wrote.
During the darkest days of the Model 3 program, I reached out to Tim Cook to discuss the possibility of Apple acquiring Tesla (for 1/10 of our current value). He refused to take the meeting.

Apple has not yet commented on Musk’s remarks about the meeting that did not take place, and also refused to comment on the company’s future plans and anything related to reports of the new vehicle they, ostensibly, plan to start producing in less than 4 years (at best).
According to a calculation made at TechCrunch, given that Musk did not specify an exact time, he may be talking about a period sometime between 2017 and 2019 – when details of problems in the company’s Model 3 production were revealed. As you may recall, last year alone it was valued at 60 billion – about a tenth of its value today.
Not thrilled by the talk of Apple’s revolutionary battery
But Musk did not stop at the story of the takeover bid. In another tweet, the developer addressed the issue of Apple’s battery – which will reportedly enjoy a new design, which is expected to provide a larger driving range – despite being smaller, and will consist of just one cell and a compound of iron and lithium.
“Strange if that is true. Tesla already uses lithium-iron batteries for cars in the medium price range at our factory in Shanghai. A single-cell battery is electrochemically impossible because the maximum voltage is too low. Maybe they meant that the cells are connected together, like in our battery, ”Musk said of the report on the battery issue.
Is the serial entrepreneur and the father of some of the most interesting companies in the world of technology today worried about the possible competition and so he came out with the tweets? Maybe. Especially considering that he did not specify a general or specific date (“in the most difficult days of Model 3” is too general, Ayalon) – it is difficult to know when it happened, or whether it happened at all. Either way, is going to be interesting in the coming years in the field of electric vehicles.
