Ellen DeGeneres Talks COVID-19 Symptoms and Back Pain: WATCH

Ellen DeGeneres exhibition marking the late end of their annual “12 Days of Giveaways” on January 12, when DeGeneres returned hospitality for the first time after testing positive for COVID-19 in December. DeGeneres ’progressive test broke the show’s end-of-year record, coming after it had just completed 11 days of delivery. And with “11 Days of Giveaways” not having the same ring, she brought back the same audience that would have been there in December for her debut show (almost again, though) ). “Of course there are a lot of negative things going on, so I’m going to talk about something positive: my COVID test,” she opened her monologue. DeGeneres went on to explain that she learned about her experiment in her studio, prior to filming. “I was in hair and makeup, getting my face powdered and my extension applied,” she said. “And then my assistant Craig walked in and said, ‘You did a positive test for COVID,’ and then everyone around me ran. It’s funny, people are just scared, and they run. Some have not returned since. “

DeGeneres also talked about her symptoms, which is the back pain she talked about before in a video she tweeted. “The doctor put me on pain pills and muscle relaxants – jackpot, finally this thing pays off,” she said, going on to describe the pain. “You know how to make you laugh so hard that your ribs hurt? That’s how it was for me. Now I know how you feel when I smile at you. ” The back pain, she said, was “the only symptom” she experienced. (COVID-19 has been reported to cause muscle pain, which can lead to back pain, according to Stop.) “I didn’t have a headache; I had no fever; I didn’t lose my taste, ”DeGeneres continued. “Although, I put on Crocs with socks for a day, so you’re the judge.” She ended her monologue by telling her audience that she did not know where she caught the virus (“I only give birth to three or four doorstep”) and that her “heart go out ”to everyone dealing with COVID-19. “I hope this show gives you some joy, to brighten up your day,” DeGeneres said.
