Elizabeth Olsen claims to have fought for Scarlet Witch’s comic costume in ‘WandaVision’

New television miniseries WandaVision has left everyone for more with all four of its events streaming on Disney + Hotstar premium pricing. The clips from the Marvel series have been looking after Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch costume. Now the actress revealed that she was fighting to appear in the show.

Olsen has been fighting for a funny Scarlet Witch suit

Elizabeth Olsen reiterated her role as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in WandaVision. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, she talked about the struggle to bring a comic book suit to the Marvel series. She said she was “so happy” about it. The actor said that the show has a Halloween show and the makers were trying to figure out how much of a nod to the character they were going to make, and it started with the classic costume Scarlet Witch. Olsen described the suit as a “sort of gypsy thing” that had to be worn with a headband. She said she was “fighting” to reveal the suit. She said she had told the manufacturers that they had to bring in a full and that it was like the “biggest” thing. The actress was convinced that if Paul Bettany as Vision wears a flawless outfit, she does too.

Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch costume looks important WandaVision, the actor blocked it. She said she’s actually been in the outfit for a while, and it was “so much fun” for her. Olsen noted that she liked it, and that was the “perfect way” to wear that outfit because people can’t take that suit seriously.

Miniseries WandaVision is a mix of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It features Wanda Maximoff and Vision – two all-powerful creatures living in a particularly suburban life – who start under the suspicion that everything is not as it seems. Kat Dennings returns as Darcy Lewis, with Randall Park replay producer Jimmy Woo. Kathryn Hahn will make her MCU debut as plucky main neighbor, Agnes, with Teyonrah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Created by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, the Marvel series will feature nine episodes, with four currently available on Disney + Hotstar. It is expected to end in March 2021.
