Elbit Systems reports two deals for the Dutch army

Elbit Systems announced today that it has won a $ 50 million follow-up contract from the Dutch Ministry of Defense to provide the Dutch army with additional digital soldier systems and mounted systems, as an extension of the Dutch soldier’s modernization program. The contract will be executed over a period of three years.

Under the contract, Elbit Systems will provide digital soldier and integration systems for vehicles with enhanced network combat capabilities including TORCH-XTM infantry command and control systems and E-LynXTM software radio systems. The solutions to be provided were designed to meet unique requirements set by the Purchasing Manager at the Dutch Ministry of Defense (Defense Material Organization) and tested in the field by Dutch Army soldiers.

In another deal, Elbit announces that it has won a $ 15 million contract to supply XACT nv32 night vision micro-systems to the Dutch army. The initial contract will be executed over a period of two years and includes the potential for follow-up orders over a period of seven years. Systems are manufactured at Elbit Systems’ Alask plant located in Sderot.
