EF Pro Cycling will announce a new main sponsor and name change

EF Pro Cycling has announced a key sponsor for 2021.

The US-based WorldTour team has welcomed Japanese construction company and asphalt Nippo Corporation as a partner, as the team changes its name to EF Education-Nippo.

EF, run by former pro Jonathan Vaughters has also signed several riders from the Nippo Delko One Provence ProTeam announcing their new backup.

Girls said: “Our team comes from far and wide, and the same is true for our partner family. Freedom and renewal are on our roster and in our thinking between our partners since we all come from so many different parts of the world. I am very proud of that fact.

“With Nippo Corporation joining us as next season’s title sponsor, we will only be adding to our global approach to professional cycling and study. ”

This is the first entry into the WorldTour for Nippo, which is ending its ProTeam sponsorship next season but which will also support the Swiss Continental squad Nippo-Provence-PTS Conti .

The organization builds 90 percent of the velodromes in Japan, also supporting several racing teams in Japan and Europe since 1988.

EF has signed Japan pro Fumiyuki Beppu to the squad from the Nippo ProTeam, along with Frenchman Julien El Fares.

Daimon said: “We hope that Japanese athletes and technical staff, from mechanics, to incoming team signers, will gain more knowledge and contribute to the development of Japanese cycling.”
