Washington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins apologized Tuesday for breaking the COVID-19 protocol reported after the team’s loss on Sunday to the Seattle Seahawks.

Photos surfaced on social media this week showing Haskins apparently partying in a strip club without wearing a mask.

“I want to apologize publicly (sic) for what I did last Sunday. I spoke to Coach (Ron) Rivera yesterday and took full responsibility for endangering the team. -careful and unusual for me and I take responsibility for my action., “Haskins posted on Twitter.

NFL Network reportedly team officials are handling the case internally following talks with the league on Monday.

Lions close facility after two advanced Covid-19 tests

The Detroit Lions have announced that they have closed their facility after two COVID-19 positive test results.

“Earlier in the morning, we were told about two positive COVID-19 tests within our group,” the team released in a statement.

“As a warning, the team’s practice facility is currently closed and our players and coaches are holding remote meetings today.

“As we adhere to our Strict Protocols and conduct contact detection, we will continue to liaise closely with the NFL and its medical staff and gather more information.”
