The 25th round of the Premier League came to an end tonight (Monday), when Crystal Palace recorded a 1-2 victory over Brighton, in the most dramatic way possible.
This is a result that greatly complicates the Seagulls, who finish the cycle when they are only four points away from the red line. Crystal Palace almost did not endanger the goal in the first half, but still finished it with an advantage thanks to the debut goal of Jean-Philippe Mattata in the 28th minute. It was incidentally the first goal Brighton conceded on the home court in 344 minutes.
Brighton came back with a goal from Joel Waltman in the 55th minute, and when it seemed we were on our way to a point split that would not serve any team, Christian Bentke arrived in the 95th minute, sending the visitors to celebrate a big win and three points to help Palace escape from the bottom.
