Dragon Ball FighterZ shows off the first Gogeta SS4 game

Bandai Namco kicked off the Battle Hour event at the Ball Games on Saturday with a little help from Gogeta SS4, the next DLC character coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ. This soon-to-be-released version of Gogeta got its first game demo showing off its usual moves, some combos, and some of its more powerful moves that should be familiar looking the ones who love the fighter. A release date for the Gogeta SS4 has not yet been announced, but Bandai Namco assured viewers that information would be shared at the end of the event.

The Battle Hour event which is set to take place for the next two or three hours is currently underway which means that Bandai Namco has not yet uploaded the gameplay from the show. . The GamersPrey YouTube channel has gratefully uploaded the photos, however, which means if you didn’t see the gameplay when it appeared through the stream, you can still catch up on what you missed. . That play demo can be seen below and begins with a brief look at his moves and then a demo of his Supers before going deeper with combos and other tactics.

As with any character, Gerseta SS4 Supers are some of the most exciting parts of the fighter’s arsenal. Similar to Adult Gohan, this version of Gogeta has a leveling system that allows him to advance to the highest level at level 7. During the demonstration, it was explained that each of the levels he receives will be .25 advancing his ability meter and increasing the damage on his next Level 1 or Level 3 attack.

One of the most impressive uses of this leveling ability came from the demonstration of how it affects its Level 3 ability. With no level up at all, the base move did 4,186 damage in the demo. When it melted to Stage 7, the damage increased dramatically. The same move after being powered damaged 19,980 and knocked down the SSGSS version of Gogeta in one blast.

The Dragon Ball FighterZ the show came long before the commercials were promised to be shared at the end of the show, so it’s clear there will be more to announce throughout the Battle Hour event.
