Stars are like twinkling dots in our night sky, but scientists now believe that the celestial bodies were much larger!

Scientists at the National Astronomical Observatory in Japan and the Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astronomy (ASIAA) in Taiwan recently discovered that black holes were terrifying stars. the center of galaxies – too big for our understanding.

The researchers found that black holes were left behind after giant supernovas from these horrible stars.

Supernovas are pretty much the big explosions that happen once the star runs out of energy and falls into itself. Supernovas are thought to be the largest explosions in space. It was first reported by Phys[dot]org, the team published their findings in the journal entitled “Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society”.

But how big were these stars?

Scientists believe that these historical stars could have been millions to billions of times larger than our sun! Black holes are difficult to study. Even then, not many scientists know about the gigantic holes.

To gather evidence for this study, the researchers performed a “simulation of radiation hydrodynamics”. According to their estimates, the team predicted that the James Webb Space Telescope will be able to observe a supernova event once it is launched this year.

If all goes well, scientists may be able to understand not only the origin of these mega stars, but also black holes as we know them today!

One of the researchers, a previous Ke-Jung Chen researcher, said that big stars could be “black hole seeds”, and that they are a preview of these fire holes.
