The skimmer comes in a compact design and weighs about 795 grams, using a camera with a 1 / 2.3-inch sensor on the front that comes with an f / 2.8 aperture key and a 150-degree wide-angle lens capable of taking still images in 12-megapixel and 4K video of Up to 60 frames per second or 1080p of up to 120 frames per second.

Along with the glider, the kit will also include the FPV Goggles V2 goggles, which allow the user to view the video directly from the glider, and the standard DJI control controller in the dedicated version of the FPV with a button to switch between the various flight modes.

In addition, users will be able to purchase the new Motion Controller controller, which replaces the standard controller and allows control of the DJI FPV glider using “motion gestures” instead of the standard joysticks.

The DJI FPV skimmer will offer the user 3 flight options depending on the user’s skill level:
