Dillon Francis and Drove Release Emotive New STMPD RCRDS Track, “Places” – EDM.com

Dillon Francis stepping into the new year with a new style, melodic cold melody, proving that the producer has a raw talent for making earrings across species. Francis has now tapped into the talents of a blossoming trio Dry, and changes direction to a smoother sound with a spread of “Places.”

“Places” is full of emotion just as promised in his Instagram post where he first previewed the track. It begins with the progression of an emotional chord, moving into the bouncy melodic house section. An ethnic breakup leads the song to a higher energy chorus similar to many of Francis ’house tracks yesterday. Together, this collaboration has brought out some of the best production qualities for Francis, and the song appears on the new Drove self-titled EP album.
