A leading dietitian in Sydney has unveiled her simple two-recipe recipe for making healthy pancakes at home.

Rebecca Gawthorne, 32, shared the recipe with her 147,000 Instagram followers and said that only one ripe banana and two eggs are needed to make the meal satisfying.

‘This recipe is so easy. There are literally two ingredients; you can’t go wrong. Even if you don’t like cooking, you have to try this recipe, Rebecca titled the social media post.

The four-step method involves watering the eggs in a bowl, placing the banana and combing them with a fork or spatula.

‘If you want to do it [the] mixing goes longer and making the pancakes more filling, you can add a few tablespoons of whole-grain flour, buckwheat flour or mixed oats when sticking in the banana, ‘said Rebecca.

‘Non-stick heat [pan] and pour into a mixture. Cook on all sides until golden, turning back when pressed. ‘

Once the pancakes are cooked, remove from the heat and serve with your favorite toppings – such as lemon juice and sugar, maple syrup or mixed berries.
