Diego Costa missed Atletico Madrid training on Monday and is looking to accelerate his release from LaLiga’s management.
The promoter was allowed to sit out the session with his teammates as he tries to reach an agreement with the club when he leaves.
COPE statement that he was allowed to skim training and Costa is understood to be seeking out for personal reasons.

The 32-year-old’s contract expires in the summer but he is seeking a move before then, pushing for an early escape during the January transfer window.
Luis Suarez and Joao Felix have established themselves as two strong strikers for Simeone and Costa has only made three substitute appearances in more than two months.
He has been sidelined with injuries and has only played once since the start of the season.

It was reported in Spain that the club is willing to release Costa’s contract early and find a solution that will work for all parties.
Costa has spent eight years at Atletico over three spells, returning in 2018 after winning the Premier League twice with Chelsea between 2014 and 2017.
His departure would put an end to any expectation of a meeting with the Blues in their Champions League round 16 against Atletico next year.
Costa scored 59 goals in 82 appearances while at Stamford Bridge and took a good look at social media when they were drawn for the Champions League.
Despite falling out of favor recently, Costa has made 215 appearances for the club, scoring 83 times and providing 36 assists.
He stopped in the same game as Suarez for the first time with a goal against Elche earlier this month, but was brought down for just three minutes of the 2-0 win at Real Sociedad on Tuesday.
