Former Married At First Sight star Dean Wells says he receives death threats and attacks from trolls

He rose to fame on season five of Married At First Sight in 2018.

But on Friday, Dean Wells revealed he is still receiving death threats and assaults from online trolls, three years after he appeared on the show.

The creative director, 43, shared a brutal threat from a sad troll who threatened to hurt him.

Dean posted the harsh message, which he read: ‘I’ll hurt you, I’ll walk up behind you in public to stab you from ankle to mandible and watch you scream.’

The previous one The Married At First Sight star said: ‘That’s just the tip of the iceberg. There are hundreds of these. I still get them all the time, that’s just part of going on TV. ‘

Dean continued: ‘None of these people have ever acted in public. They’re just sad little people who are just too happy with a silly TV show. Prohibition or fine does not alter these people from these feelings. ‘

‘I say people will say whatever they want and anyone who commits crime just needs to pull up and understand that that’s just part of living in a free society.’

Dean’s role will follow Ines Basic had to call police after receiving death threats as its first season of MAFS flights in the UK.

On Thursday, the 30-year-old shared a threat of violence from a troll threatening to hunt down and kill her.

Ines shared the message, which they read: ‘You’re an ugly shame c ** t. I look forward to hunting you when I am in Australia. ‘

The troll continued, saying she would be ‘burned’ along with the ill risk of cutting off his head.

Ines said she immediately reported all threats to the police.

‘Just to let you know with threats that are as serious as they go to my legal team and the police will find them,’ she wrote.

Ines then said that online trolls would be stopped by Australian border security.

‘For your own good don’t do this because you’ll get an instant flag and stop at the Australian boarding house [sic]. I had to do it for a few people already, ’she wrote.
