Dayo Opamcano has decided to move to Bayern Munich

About a year and a half ago not too many people outside of Germany met Dayo Opamkano (22), a Leipzig stopper. Last season he made tremendous progress, became a significant part of his team’s run to the Champions League semi-finals and attracted a lot of interest from the major teams on the continent.

In recent months, there have been several reports that he will leave Leipzig in the summer, four and a half years after the Austrian Bull Salzburg uprising joined it.

Tonight (Friday) it was claimed in the French RMC that the brakeman, who has already managed to make three appearances in the world champion uniform, has decided to move to Bayern Munich, the European champions.

Opamcano’s price on paper, at least when estimating capacity and potential and comparing to similar acquisitions in recent years, was supposed to be around 70 or 80 million euros, but its release clause stands at 42.5 million euros “only”, and according to the report, Bayern gained a huge player for many years At a bargain price.

The 22-year-old stopper is set to enter the box of David Alaba, who has apparently ended his career at the club after failing to reach an agreement with the club on extending his contract and will become a free agent.
