You can always rely on David Attenborough’s broadcast legend to deliver an interesting nature documentary and Life in Color seems to be an exception.

The new two-part series explores how animals view the world around us as well as the many action practices that color plays in their lives, from being a warning to attack predators to play an instrumental role in finding companions.

The program also uses state-of-the-art technology, some designed specifically for this series, to reveal colors and patterns that are invisible to the human eye.

When is Attenborough’s Life in Color on BBC One?

Attenborough’s Life in Color will first appear on BBC One Sunday 28 February at 7pm, and ending the following week in the same amlot.

The program will be shown on BBC iPlayer shortly after its broadcast to those who miss it live.

This new documentary series explains how color plays an important role in the lives of several species of animals, helping them to win companions, fight against competitors and warn predators.

The first program focuses on how peacocks and mushrooms dazzle potential companions with their natural beauty, while mandrill balloons use color to mark their status in the soldiers.

The program also explores how some tiny frogs use color to warn enemies of the poison they contain.

Next week’s program moves on to explore how some animals use color to disguise themselves, from a Bengal tiger in central India to snails on an island. Cuba.

But predators can also use color to deceive their prey, as evidenced by the appearance of blue-striped lips, whydah with a pin tail and crab spiders, the latter attracting victims with the colors ultraviolet aige.
