Darren Till on Conor McGregor and Marvin Hagler

When news of Marvin Hagler’s departure came out last Saturday, boxing fans from all over the world, including UFC superstar Darren Till, lamented the decline of the boxing legend.

The determination with which Hagler ‘Marvelous’ trained, despite being the moderate weightlifting champion, is undoubtedly the inspiration for Darren Till to this day. In a recent video uploaded to YouTube’s Till channel, the UFC’s moderate pressure expressed sympathy for the boxing champion’s fans and family:

“One of the greatest boxers ever. A big fan of him … obviously ahead of my time, but I’ve watched every fight. Especially the [Thomas] Hearns fights that everyone goes on. So yeah, RIP to Marvin Hagler.

Famous Marvin Hagler said one of the greatest sayings in boxing history:

“It’s hard to get out of bed to do roadworks at 5 AM when you’ve been sleeping in silk pajamas.”

Darren Till Hagler quoted and commented that UFC double winner Conor McGregor is also living with the same motto. The Irishman seems to be the biggest draw in martial arts right now but he is still trying to be the best lightweight in the world:

“And I like his quota, as Conor says, I’m in silk pajamas but I’m still out working on all those fools. I like that quota. You have to keep that in mind when you get there, reach the top, get that money … “

Darren Till fights Marvin Vettori next

‘The Gorilla’ is currently ranked 4th in the middleweight division. Earlier this year, it was announced that Darren Till will face Marvin Vettori ‘s No. 5 next. The fight is expected to take place at the head of the UFC Fight Night 188, scheduled for April 10.

Darren Till is 1-1 in his midfield campaign, with his last fight against vice-champion Robert Whittaker. The Brit opposed his third pro-MMA loss through a unanimous decision. With a win over Vettori- who is coming off a Jack Hermanson defeat at UFC Vegas 16- Darren Till will try to regain his move.

The UFC has announced that the event will be broadcast on ABC Network. After Max Holloway vs. Calvin Kattar in January, UFC FN: 188 will mark the return of the promotion to the American Television Network.
