The Lebanese news channel Al-Mayadin, which is affiliated with the Hezbollah terrorist organization, today (Sunday) published documentation from an Iranian drone of the Israeli-owned ship Helios Ray, which was attacked last month in the Gulf of Oman.
According to the news channel, the video proves that the explosion carried out on the ship was done from the inside, as Operation “False Flag” which aims to accuse Iran of action against Israeli-owned vessels. A video posted shows a hole in the bottom of the ship but shows no evidence of how it was created.
An Iranian official, who did not identify himself by name, told the Lebanese news channel that the timing of the attack also proves that Iran’s hand is not behind the attack. “Iran has no reason to attack an Israeli cargo ship, certainly not a few weeks before the country’s elections.”
The senior official noted that this was not the first time the ship had reached the area and that it had already passed through it in March 2020. “It appears that Biden’s rise to power in the United States, coupled with the decline in Ben Salaman’s power, has raised concerns among Zionists,” the source added.
The source added: “In order to escape a vulnerable electoral situation and try to change the new administration’s policy, Netanyahu was left with no choice but to create a sensitive security situation in the region. Tehran proved that Netanyahu’s claims are baseless and that Iran has no hand in the incident.”
