Dakota Johnson remembers using George Clooney’s name to get into restaurants; A veteran said he was ‘cool with it’
50 Shades actress Dakota Johnson confirmed the recent reports that she used to use the name of former Hollywood soldier George Clooney to find dinner accommodation at influential restaurants. When she appeared on the Drew Barrymore Show, the actress unveiled 50 Shades Freed about her upbringing, going to treatment, and more, before she finally confirmed the rumor. When actress Drew Barrymore asked Johnson “Did or did you not use accommodation at restaurants under the name George Clooney to get the best table?” Dakota replied, “Not even getting the best table was just a reservation but yes I did. ”
Dakota also joked that, after doing it for a while, she met George Clooney who knew what Dakota had been pulling out of it. “I hadn’t met him openly and it was like,‘ I heard about what you did, ’” Dakota recalled. “And I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ But he was cool with it. ”
If you missed it, just yesterday admitted another lie she told in the past. Back in March 2020, actress Fifty Shades Freed appeared in a video for Architectural Digest for which she toured her house in Los Angeles. On the way home, Dakota showed off her kitchen where two bowls of limes were sitting on the counter to which she pointed and she said at the time: “I like limes, I love them. They are great. I love them so much and love to display them like this in my house. “
Now, almost a year later, Dakota came clean about the whole thing being a lie! In an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, to promote the new film Our Friend, she revealed that she is actually allergic to limes. “I have a real allergy to limes. I have a slight allergy to limes and honeydew melon, ”said Dakota, adding that they stick out their tongues.
