A bicycle a sport packed with lycra-covered cheats. It has been from the very beginning, and remain so to the present day. This is so great that even though they get into the sport and compete in their sport almost, cyclists still attracted.

Mar this is great Defector story sums up, loads of cyclists have been competing in the game Zwift recently, and surprised Pikachu’s face, they get buses to break the rules, albeit in new and exciting ways.

Zwift is a game where you ride your own exercise bike and then your speed and actions are displayed on the screen. Earlier this week Zwift’s “Performance Verification Board” banned six of the game’s best riders for six months. Israeli rider Antonina Reznikov was caught editing her data to make her on-screen performance 32% faster than her actual pedaling, while German rider Selma Trommer was caught doing the same for 9% increase. The two riders were first arguing over the Board ‘s decisions before they came back and saying, yes, okay, we cheated.

And those are just the latest two. Mar Cycling report, Zwift have been struggling with cheating for a while now, especially through the epidemic as professional cyclists, with financial support and need to be seen to be performing well, heading to the tournaments of the game.

To believe, Zwift have been working on capturing these cheaters, as can be seen from the truth … were these two caught? But hey, with over 100 years of historical precedent, the problem may not lie less with the game and more with the players.
