Crystal Palace has joined the clubs to inquire about Schalke defender Ozan Kabak.

Manchester United, Leicester City and RB Leipzig are all monitoring developments with the Turk, which is available for around £ 25million.

Palace is looking at the dismissal of James Tomkins and Mamadou Sakho who are nearing the end of their contracts and are assessing targets across Europe.

The Eagles have only kept one clean sheet this season – the lowest number in the Premier League – on the opening day against Southampton.

Kabak, 20, has also attracted attention from Liverpool but is focusing on other options.

The seven-cap international has played eight games this season for Schalke, a Bundesliga side.

Kabak won a Turkish league title with Galatasaray in 2017-18 and was awarded the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season in his first year in Germany the following campaign.
