Roy Hodgson won’t rip the winger back to his plans, but he hopes to be available after hosting Fulham
Crystal Palace are hoping Wilfried Zaha gets the chance to face former Manchester United club next week, with Roy Hodgson revealing the player is back in training.
The Eagles have been without their talismanic since they made a trip to Newcastle on 2 February.
Zaha has sat three games with a complaint about muscles, with Hodgson ‘s side coming non – stop in two of those fixtures before winning a stunning derby over Brighton last time out, and hopefully a home date with Fulham on Sunday is the last game the 28-year-old talented man misses.

Hodgson has told reporters when offering a fitness update about his most valuable asset: “He was out on the field today, and that was great.
“He was training with our rehabilitation specialist.
“It was great to see Wilf out there running and playing with the ball. Muscle injuries you have to be very careful, so I have to wait until I get permission from the medical department to make sure that his first sprint is not injured by a new injury or that the old injury comes back.
“I hope to see him again next week. That is my hope. ”

A goal from London-based Fulham rivals will be followed on Wednesday by host Manchester United.
Zaha will be desperate to feature in that tournament, with the Ivory Coast international having previously undergone a test run at Old Trafford.
He is now largely back to his struggles, prompted by more talk of a move, but Hodgson takes a longing to tear him back into the fold.
If Zaha isn’t ready to face the Red Devils, that could be a comeback when you bring in a short round to Tottenham on March 7.
