The cover of the Spanish “Marca” this morning (Wednesday) claims that there is a chance – three years after leaving Real Madrid for Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo may go all the way back. “Ronaldo winks at Real Madrid,” read the newspaper’s headline, detailing how the deal will materialize: perhaps the big transfer of the 2021/22 season.
Their claim is that Ronaldo is very keen to return to Real – beyond the fact that he became a legend at the Blancos (he won with her no less than four Champions League wins, as I recall), he is also convinced that he has a lot more to contribute to Real – who, without it, does not really do without him. I do not rule out the possibility, as Ronaldo is one of the best in the world.
