The Securities Authority has added new plenum members. The members of the plenum are appointed by the Minister of Finance and they represent a diverse population, some from the public, from among the civil servants; One is a Bank of Israel employee.
The new members of the plenum are CPA Hossam Bishara, an accountant and director of public companies, who serves as a public representative and Dr. Lior For-David, a representative of the Ministry of Finance, who serves as senior deputy accountant general who manages the macro and budget division.
The plenum of the Authority usually convenes once a month and in the course of its day-to-day activities, its members deal with the following issues through committees, among others: applications for permission to publish prospectuses; Matters relating to the supervision of the stock exchange and the trading venues; PA funds and budget; Internal audit; Issuance of licenses and permits under the Funds Law, the Rating Law and the Investment Advisory Law; Financial sanctions; And financing class and derivative claims.

Shlomit Barnea-Fargo, Legal Adviser to the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority – Adv. Baruch Lobert, Deputy Spokesman for the Ministry of Finance – Adv. Michal Akavia.
