COVID-19 cases at Florida schools

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health has posted its latest list of COVID-19 confirmed cases among students and staff at primary and secondary schools across the state

The Florida Department of Health releases a weekly report on cases dating back to Sept. 6. The latest one – published Wednesday and included at the bottom of this page – shows issues confirmed through Dec. 12.

The report does not specify whether the students are infected and the faculty has participated in personal learning.

17 new cases were confirmed by the state at Sheridan Hills Christian School in Hollywood last week, involving 16 students. That school has had at least 22 cases since early September.

In Miami-Dade, the Lubavitch Education Center had an additional 11 cases last week (nine students), increasing the total number of that school to 70 cases from Sept. 6 (including at least 62 cases). student).

In Monroe County, five new cases were confirmed at Marathon School, Stanley Switlik Primary School and the Ocean Reef Academy.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools maintain their own separate dashboard showing issues among students and staff attending personal learning.
