Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle has admitted she gave up the soap after struggling with the reputation that came from playing Janice Battersby.

She said: ‘It was a fantastic job in so many ways but by the end, it was hard to know where Janice ended up and I started.

‘She was so angry, he got physically tired to play it – sometimes shouting and screaming at people.’
